About Alicia Thompson
I am a board-certified endocrinologist providing specialty care for a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland disorders, osteoporosis, and other hormone-related conditions.
As a native of southeastern Kentucky, I grew up in Knott County and am proud to care for patients in the region I call home. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. I then completed my Internal Medicine residency in 2022, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Kentucky in 2024.
I am excited to join the ARH Care Network and look forward to providing compassionate, comprehensive endocrine care to patients throughout Eastern Kentucky.
